1 Bold Prediction from all 30 Teams

There is always next year is finally turning into this year.  We have survived another long, cold winter without baseball and are on the dawn of the 2019 MLB Baseball season.  Opening Day is now only a mere three days away, and before that first pitch is thrown, I have jumbled together a bold prediction from each team for the upcoming season.  Do what you wish with this information...

The Atlanta Braves will be a one and done as NL East Champions.  Matter of fact, the Braves do not make the postseason at all.

The Arizona Diamondbacks named Greg Holland their closer this weekend.  Holland loses that job by mid-May and Archie Bradley takes it over.  Bradley goes on to finish the year with at least 25 saves.

Trey Mancini is the the Baltimore Orioles best player by hitting a career high 30 home runs with 90 RBIs.

Andrew Benintendi reaches the next level by blasting at least 25 home runs for the Boston Red Sox as taking over lead-off duties will allow him to see and lock onto a lot more fastballs.

The Chicago Cubs placed a massive investment in Yu Darvish a year ago.  That investment pays off this season, and Darvish finally stays healthy enough for 25+ starts and finishes with double digit wins and a sub 3.60 ERA.

Eloy Jiminez will find himself on the Chicago White Sox roster before the calendar can change to May.  From then he will take the league by storm on his way to the Rookie of the Year award.  Not Vlad Guerrero Jr.

In the heart of the Cincinnati Reds' lineup, and in a hitters park, far away from any platoon role, Yasiel Puig will reach the 30 home run mark for the first time in his career.

The Cleveland Indians' 2019 home run leader will not be Francisco Lindor or Jose Ramirez, but instead Jake Bauers.

David Dahl finally puts his injury woes behind him and rakes in the heart of a stacked Colorado Rockies lineup, producing 25 home runs and 80 RBIs.

Miguel Cabrera still knows how to play baseball and will be a lone bright spot on a bad Detroit Tigers team.  Cabrera will once again grace our presence with a plus .300 average and over 20 homers.

Love him or hate him, Roberto Osuna is the Houston Astros' closer.  And on a loaded Astros team, destined for triple digit wins, expect Osuna to lock down about 40 games for the Astros.

Jorge Soler will be the player not owned in your fantasy league for the majority of the year, that should be owned.  You will regret it when he hits 25+ home runs this season for the Kansas City Royals.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will reach the World Series for the third straight year.  After now 30 years without a title, the Dodgers brass and faithful will hope and pray that the third time, is in fact, the charm.

Mike Trout will once again be great as he plays under the massive 12 year deal the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim just gave him.  However, he will once again fall short of the MVP award for the second straight season.  Not to Mookie Betts again however...

The Miami Marlins will be the worst team in baseball.  That is not a bold prediction.  Trevor Richards winning a dozen games is though.

Joining the previously mentioned Atlanta Braves, the Milwaukee Brewers will be the second reigning division champion from the National League, to miss the postseason all together.

Trevor May runs away with the Minnesota Twins closer's job early and ends the season with over 30 saves.

Lets keep this short and sweet.  Welcome back to October baseball New York Mets.

What was that about Mike Trout not winning the MVP again?  That is because the MVP award will be won by Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees.

Khris Davis of the Oakland A's has batted exactly .247 for FOUR STRAIGHT YEARS!  This year he does it for a FIFTH!  How is that for bold?

Bryce Harper comes to the Philadelphia Phillies and blows the doors off the place.  He hits over 40 home runs while mashing his way to NL MVP honors in his inaugural season.

Remember Jung Ho Kang?  He burst onto the scene for the Pittsburgh Pirates back in 2015 and followed that with a solid 2016.  Since then he has virtually been out of baseball.  Well he is back this season and he will lead the team in home runs.

New San Diego Padres superstar Manny Machado will finish with his worst statistical season since 2014 and will fail to hit 30 home runs.

Dereck Rodriguez will lead the San Francisco Giants' starting pitchers in wins.

Manny Machado Padres Gear Domingo Santana gets an everyday role back now that he is with the Seattle Mariners, and he will reward them with a 30 home run, 80 RBI campaign.

Tyler O'Neil will force the St. Louis Cardinals hand and will get playing time in right field over Dexter Fowler and Jose Martinez.  O'Neil's playing time and raw power will accumulate to over 20 home runs.

With all the talk of the "opener" role for the Tampa Bay Rays, the closer role gets forgotten about.  Jose Alvarado will quietly save at least 25 games for the Rays in 2019.

Joey Gallo of the Texas Rangers will have the highest batting average of his career as he bats around .240, roughly 40 points higher than his career average.

Teoscar Hernandez, the Toronto Blue Jays left fielder. will be the best hitter you've never heard of as he slashes .250 with over 25 home runs and over 75 RBIs.

Adam Eaton finally turns in his first healthy season since becoming a Washington National and quietly produces a .300 average with 15 home runs, and 50RBIs.
