BSS CFB Rankings - Week 6

SHARE:

Week 6 of the College Football season is over, and we have a new team to watch.

1.     GEORGIA:
Yup, they are still the top dawg (see what I did there?)  With another dominate win this past week, the Bulldogs haven’t proven me wrong.  They deserve to be the number one team in the country.

2.     ALABAMA:
With the Tide having a bye week there is nothing to really talk about.  But with Texas A&M on slate for this week we could have a shake up in the rankings.  It’s definitely going to be fun to watch.

3.     CLEMSON:
Still undefeated means these Tigers are still one of the top teams in the country, but with last week’s matchup against unranked UNC still looming in a lot of people’s mind.  I think this a chance they can drop out of the top four due to the fact the next three games are against teams that could play spoiler (Florida State, Louisville, and Boston College).  If I were Dabo, I would make sure this team knows its defcon 1, especially against Louisville.

4.     WISCONSIN:
The unofficial 2019 Big Ten Champions are proving me right each and every week, and with Heisman hopeful RB Jonathan Taylor just being phenomenal, it’s shaping up to be a fun Big Ten season.

Teams To Watch:

LSU:
There is nothing else for me to say.  The Tigers are still making the claim they deserve a CFB playoff berth by the end of the season.  With the next three out of four games against top ranked teams (10/12 Florida, 10/26 Auburn and 11/9 Bama) they have a chance to prove what I have been saying.

FLORIDA:
By the Gators defeating Auburn this week, it allows them to put their hat in the race for the SEC title and a playoff spot.  The win also shows that the SEC is the top-notch conference, and yes I got sick by saying it.  With a matchup with LSU this coming Saturday we could be seeing a new team in the top four.

OHIO STATE:
A dominate win against Michigan State helps the Buckeyes claim on being part of these rankings, but with the heavyweight matchup against Wisconsin a week away they have to just be a team to watch.
