A Brady to the Raiders Scenario?

With rumors swirling and no real answer about where Tom Brady is going to be playing next year happening any time soon, it has made me think about what could be the potential scenario for this coming offseason.  Well, I have come to terms with two different scenarios.

Scenario A - Brady re-signs with the Patriots for two years and keeps his promise of playing until he is 45 and the world is back to normal, or...

Scenario B - which I think could be a NFL first, which is a sign and trade deal with the……Las Vegas Raiders.

Yes, you read that right.  The newly relocated Las Vegas Raiders get TB12 in a deal that could change the landscape of the NFL.

The deal could look like this.

LV 2020 NFL Draft Pick
1st Round Pick 19
LV 2020 NFL Draft Pick
3rd Round Pick 80
LV 2020 NFL Draft Pick
3rd round Pick 81
NE 2020 NFL Draft
4th Round Pick 125

Both teams would benefit from this deal, and knowing how much respect Brady has for Kraft made me realize that if there is anyway Brady plays somewhere else it would have to be part of a sign and trade deal so he knows New England won’t be handicapped in the end.  The Patriots would get Derek Carr, who is only 28, and has been a top ten QB for all five years he has been in the league, and he still has three years left on his rookie deal.  With that, he is the best low-cost option that will keep the Patriots in their winning ways post-Brady era.  He could also be the potential bridge QB they need if they aim to grab one in the draft with all the draft capital they gain from this deal.

For the Raiders, they are going to need to sell out the newly built $1.9 billion Allegiant Stadium.  For them to do that they need for a winning team by adding Brady, who is the biggest marquee name out there. It could help put them over that hump to make their offense a real threat in the AFC.  The Raiders where a top ten offense this past season, and with a much better front line than what the Patriots had, Brady can play like his old self and maybe prove that he doesn’t need Belichick to succeed in the league.

Now you are probably asking how did I come up with this insane scenario?  Well, it's all due to this past Saturday's big UFC fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.  Brady and Raiders owner Mark Davis were both attending, and UFC was showing the celebs in attendance.  When the camera panned toward Brady, you thought they were at the TD Garden due to crowd's reaction.  It even made me double-check where the fight was.  So that made me start thinking, and I came up with the potential scenario that can make Brady a Raider and Carr a Patriot.

Now let me clarify.  Do I think this can happen?  Maybe.  Will this happen? Probably not.  I am just saying this is a potential scenario that as a diehard Patriot fan who remembers the losing times will want to make sure the winning ways stay.
