SimBull TradeBlock Post NFL Draft: Buy, Sell, Wait

You may have heard the news that SimBull has decided to partner with THE Boston Sports Syndicate.  SimBull is an idea that I think all of the Syndicate's supporters will enjoy.  Check out Mike Travers’ article that he posted for all the juicy details.  A link for that introductory offer is at the end of this article.

The 2021 NFL Draft has come and gone.  All seven rounds are in the books and these franchises are excited to get to work with their new players.  Of course, there were some surprises - both positive and negative.  And fans from all over are deciding whether their team made the necessary steps forward towards a future Super Bowl Championship.

But what about the SimTeam values?  Which SimTeams are worth watching following the NFL’s draft event?  Here are a few of my most intriguing SimTeams to watch.

BUY New York Jets

J-E-T-S…Jets, Jets, Jets!  At about $26 a share, the Jets present a tremendous buying opportunity.  The share price is less than all the other teams in their projected sector.  So far this off season the Jets brought in a well-respected coach in Robert Saleh, drafted their next franchise quarterback in Zach Wilson, and have seemingly put together a very competitive offensive unit.  It is hard not to praise the Jets brass based on this past draft.  The team’s first four selections were offensive players.  Well regarded prospects that could really contribute immediately.  New York went defense in the second half of their draft.  Saleh is a defensive minded coach coming east from the 49ers.  Reading the tea leaves, it would seem like the Jets are heading in the right direction.  Now might be the best time to jump into some SimJets shares.

BUY Chicago Bears

Very similarly to the Jets, the Bears put themselves in the driver’s seat to improve their franchise heading into the future.  Chicago made a ballsy move, trading up to pick 11 and selecting Ohio St. standout quarterback Justin Fields.  You can buy SimBear shares for under $30.  Fields instantly becomes the most talented quarterback that Chicago has rostered in a very, very…very long time.  A key difference between the Bears and the Jets is that "da Bears" already have some talent on their roster.  I mean, they did sneak into the playoffs in 2020.  Not only did Chicago make the smart move getting maybe the second most talented QB in the draft, but they also did the smart thing after that first round selection.  Grabbing two offensive lineman, including super talented tackle Teven Jenkins.  The NFC could very well be up in the air.  Especially if Aaron Rodgers is traded out of Lambeau.  Get some SimBears stock now before the upward movement starts.

SELL Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals may have single most over inflated stock price on the SimMarket.   At over $50 a share it seems like the value is way too high.  Yes, they have a potentially dangerous offense, but they made a tremendous mistake with their first-round pick.  Ja’Marr Chase is a supremely talented wide receiver, but they already had a strong wide-out group.  What they needed was a no-nonsense offensive tackle.  Sitting right there for the Bengals at five was a potentially generational offensive lineup in Penei Sewell.  Keeping Joe Burrow upright needed to be the franchise's top priority.  Instead they grabbed a wide receiver that will join an already sturdy group.  Not only did they decide to pass on Sewell, they only drafted one linemen in their first five draft picks.  Cincinnati’s defense did not improve, and they could lose out in the trenches all season long.  Sell your SimBengals stock before the bears get a hold of it.  And I’m not talking about the bears of the Chicago variety, I’m talking about the bears in the market.

WAIT New England Patriots

As the market stands now, the SimPatriots stock seems accurate.  Maybe a little too accurate.  Scouring the TradeBlock the Patriots sector of teams is very hard to gauge.  There are some teams with a higher price that doesn’t make sense and some teams cheaper than SimPatriots that makes you scratch your head.  Overall, New England has taken tremendous strides towards competing at a high level in 2021.  But there is a feeling that the price could drop once OTA’s start, and Cam Newton is listed as QB 1.  And that would be the perfect time to grab your SimPatriots stock, because once Mac Jones gets the job, and the team begins to play well.  SimPatriots stock to the moon bay-bay.

THE Boston Sports Syndicate is hopeful that you will follow us along in our journey of owning these shares and inspire you to also create your own journey with whichever team you are a fan, or whichever team you may see have long term success.
